It Licked His Face

I think that I'll try
Something the kids call "fashion"
I'll wash all the dishes
Fill the kitchen sink up with soap
Then I'll open up the sauce
Smear it across my healthy face
And laugh for an hour
At this new trend I've created

Now its burning just a bit
And I can't hear the sounds
Of those people rushing in
To catch a glimpse of light

Then I pull on the plug
Watch the water travel down the drain
How well this scene
Fits the present going movement
I itch for a minute
As hairs crawl across the arms
Churning out empty pores
Just as the skin turns into slime

Now its burning just a bit
And I can't hear the sounds
Of those people rushing in

To catch a glimpse of light

By the by, would you be
Interested in the shade
Something to hide you when
The sun becomes to much to bare
Oh and I dropped the glass
Spilled the milk all in the room

But they say I shouldn't cry
Because people forget all to soon

Now its burning just a bit
And I can't hear the sounds
Of those people rushing in
To catch a glimpse of light
